September 3, 2025. Patch Notes:
- Mirroring no longer leaves the ((...)) when the mirror is created as a sibling of the item you're typing in;
- The "Start of week" setting is now supporter better in search. Let us know if you still encounter situations where it's not respected;
- The Jump To dialog no longer suggests in the search results parts of AI conversations;
- You can now limit search to the notes field only. Type in:note:"Hello" in the search box to do this. The same goes for backlinks - try in:backlink:"Again";
- PDF viewer no longer shows blank space in place of some background images;
- Uploaded pictures no longer unexpectedly rotate 90 degree;
- Checkboxes are now better aligned when you adjust font size on mobile;
- Font size in the date autocomplete on mobile is decreased to fit longer formats;
- The custom date format is now respected when you link to a node (e.g. with [[...]]);
- Use new /count to see the amount of items and words inside the tree;
- Use new /Priority: Default to... to define whether children should go to the bottom or to the top when you send them to this node via "/Move To" or "/Mirror To";
- Slash command executed at the end of a node automatically removes the redundant space.

Perfect for my needs

I have been using workflowy for more than a year now. I keep a lot of my notes in a hierarchical format on my smartphone ever since I had a Treo 180 many years back.

When I found out that workflowy supported multiple platforms, I gave it a try and was so impressed with it that I got a subscription for myself and my family.

The only additional feature I would request is for users to be able to change the font size for the notes as the fonts are really small on my iPad mini. There is already the ability to change font size for the main bullet points, which is great. Other than that, it's just perfect for my needs!

Great app, will be better with widgets

The app itself may look simple, but it packs many features that are extremely intuitive to use, some of which are not available in other popular apps (such as mirroring). Its customisability has also improved gradually over the years. However, implementating widgets will make the app a lot more useful.

Simple and Efficient

I love how simple it is to use Workflowy, yet it’s so efficient to organize your stuffs, your thought process. I think that’s what app should be about, simple and efficient.
