Awesome port

This is the base game with the war of the chosen expansion and the Spark / alien ruler dlcs (with the option to either have the dlcs integrated or have the original intro missions).

Performance is better than expected. Playing on an iPhone 12 I get mostly 20-30fps with dips if there are a lot of particle effects. I’ve played a few legendary Ironman campaigns with some of them involving a half dozen lost, 2 pods of enemies and the chosen and it still holds steady.

Textures have taken a noticeable downgrade but the visuals still shine clearly. The levels are the same complexity as in the pc version (vs the ones in XCOM: enemy within which are downgraded for mobile) with multiple heights and destroyable terrain for more tactical options. It’s the real deal guys.

Interface is completely reworked for mobile and works well. Watch out for mistaps when you position your guys though.

Super addictive and a huge time sink. No regrets. I can now have a skirmish on the go.

Works great after reinstalling!

Didn’t work the first time. Contacted tech support and they were quick to respond. Decided to reinstall and try again and it worked perfectly for me now. So I came back to change from 1 star to 5 star. 😄

Must have for iOS

Absolutely one of the best releases for mobile/tablet. They have done and amazing job customising the UX for mobile experience. Pricey but worth every cent. Hope Feral make more ports to mobile like this.
