Paid for VIP and cancelled immediately. WORST app ever.
Paid for 3months VIP and cancelled it within 10minutes (no refund) after exasperating attempts to stream content on TV. There’s no function to control the screen’s orientation and by default, content plays in portrait mode. Switching to landscape mode will just get the display rotated sideway or upside down. App developer should test run the app before launching, let alone charge for subscription.
It‘s mid September and the screen mirroring issue is not fixed.
My paid membership expires only in Nov. Can I log in to the original Chinese Youku app with this paid membership？ Pls advice…

After you need to turn on the lock orientation, click to view in full screen. You can update to the latest version to see if this fixes the problem.
Only works on mobile not laptop
Made the mistake of purchase a plan on this app to find that it only works for mobile because this is an international app. The real YOUKU is a different app and that one allows you to login to the website and watch shows off your laptop. If you want good quality on your laptop you have to buy another plan. Basically I’ve just wasted money.. I wanted payments to sync with iTunes for easy management rather then buying off the website. Don’t use this app, go to the original YOUKU app.
One of the Worst Apps Ever – VIP is a Scam
I paid for the VIP subscription expecting an ad-free experience, but this app is a total rip-off. Not only do ads still show up before and during videos, but even when I pause a movie, an advertisement pops up. Seriously? This is ridiculous.
What’s the point of paying if I still have to sit through so many ads? It ruins the entire viewing experience. The app is poorly designed, money-hungry, and honestly one of the worst entertainment apps I’ve ever used. Don’t waste your time or money.
