Zigbang Smart Doorlock‪.‬ 4+

It’s a pain to use Samsung Smart door lock apps. Have to login each time when I want to use the apps even though it’s set to “Stay signed-in”. It was fine for the 1st month, everything is good and very responsive; and I’m quite impressed but my happiness short lived - after the 2nd months, frustration starting to build up when the apps kept on prompting “Network Disconnected”. I’ve checked my wifi connection, rebooted my phone, deinstalled/ install the apps but still the same. I’m not sure what went wrong? I’ve read & followed the steps/ instructions on how to troubleshoot the issues but it still doesn’t work - same errors.
Please rectify the issues.

I have many iot devices, and of all of them, the door lock disconnects very easily. Getting it reconnected to the wifi requires a lot of patience. Each time there is a disconnection - I have to try more than 20x to reinstall the wifi.

The app UI for Wi-Fi setup, shows a timer dial turning to a full circle as a time indicator. In my repetition, I have seen it turn a full circle, but often it skips and I come to the end of the process. Regardless of a full circle or notC, the door will announce that it “failed to connect to Wi-Fi” , and eventually, although it has failed all 20x, the lock can suddenly appear on the app at the 20th fail. Very mysterious.

But once it’s connected, the alerts that tells me when the door has opened and which fingerprint has unlocked it works very well and there’s almost no delay in the alerts.

Dear developers - will you please introduce Siri short cuts to unlock the door please? Or allow iPhone wallet keycard to tap to unlock the door. Thank you!

Still in Sep ‘22, the app still constantly logs you out even if you select the checkbox for stay signed in. And with the additional IOT module, the app should do more instead of just unlocking door and notifications. For e.g Why do we still need to access the door panels to register new codes and fingerprints? Why couldn’t the app trigger this flow? To change your profile pic in the app is a nightmare. The touch gestures seem off. I hope that the developers can listen to our feedback and improve the app. Thanks.
