Aloe Bud wants to put you back on the right path. It’s a customisable self-care toolkit to address numerous areas of wellbeing from breathing deeply and staying properly hydrated to feeling motivated, taking proper breaks and sleeping better.

Set self-care goals with Aloe Bud.

You choose your areas of focus: options include breathe, rest, fuel, move, people and stimulate. Add these goals to your homepage grid and customise the reminders and tasks you set for yourself.

For example, when you add a Rest activity, you can choose to add a reflection (to write down the worries that are keeping you awake or describe the past night) or check-in (to note that you have had a good night’s sleep). You can also tinker with the nudges you get from the app, so that the wording in the task you receive feels relevant to your needs.

Check in to the app regularly to form mindful habits.

When it’s time to complete a task you’ll be presented with your chosen exercise. For breathing, you might be told to inhale for four, hold for four and exhale for four. For move, you might be advised to have a quick walk or stretch.

Each activity has a choice of icons – pick the ones you connect with best. The progress report will keep you on track. Tap the shoe icon at the top of the screen for a timeline of your check-ins.
