Does not work on iOS 14 (FIXED)
Please update the app. The summer is almost here and I would like to use wifi function on my a/c. At the moment every button i tap crashes the app.
Update: ok, guys, I found a solution. Delete the app, then reinstall. It was still crashing, but then I changed the language in iphone settings for gree+ to english. The app started and I had to sign in again. Then it worked with complete functionality.
WiFi doesn't want to connect
I have been trying all the possible settings but the app doesn't connect the ac unit to my router... the process stops at 69% installation and won't work. Very disappointing
Update: Movistar router was the problem. Installed a WiFi strength extender (even though I had WiFi coverage in that area) and when I manually add the device to the new WiFi extender it connected!
Useful for remote AC control
Turns out the issues I was having were related to CNAME Flattening used by DNS resolver on my devices. Without that app started working again. It’s quite handy to control AC with phone so you can fire it up at work before coming home or turning it off if you forgot to while at home.
