Crashing too much
It could be perfect but it’s not. There is always some kind of error preventing you to binge a show.
Barely functions and frustrating to use
The design of the app is fine, but the performance is absolutely the worst I've ever seen in a streaming app. I downloaded it on my iPad, and it barely works. To begin with, it won't allow me to download episodes and watch the series at the same time. Sometimes, I can't even download more than 1 episode at a time. Some episodes won't even start downloading. When deleting the already expired downloads, the app regularly crashes. It also regularly reports 'no connection' although the connection is fine and all of the other video/streaming apps work perfectly fine. This app is frustrating to use!

Worst app
I can’t believe I’m still paying for hbo max and I wish I wasn’t. The app doesn’t work AT ALL. Either it doesn’t register my wifi, which Netflix has no issues with btw, or it didn’t work at all for A MONTH. After updating my ipad and the app when the update was finally availabe, still no luck. Now, because of some mysterious reason, it works but only for an episode a day. What a joke. Their help center is also one of the most unhelpful ones I’ve ever emailed. Their advice: it’s probably my wifi that’s the issue. Absolutely awful. 0/10 recommend.
