We couldn’t wait to go back to the land of twisty towers and uncanny beauty—and this sequel didn’t let us down. With its striking colours and level design, it’s even more stunning than the first game. New elements like light beams and controlling two characters make the puzzles even trickier. The bond between that mother and child is what we’ll remember most, though—their relationship moved us in a way few games do.
Absolutely stunning
This game is so beutifully designed that you never want it to come to an end. Wordless storytelling, without any facial expresions is absolutely stunning and hartfelt. Impossible architecture, music and heart touching characters take you to another dimension and it's just perfect!

Not a Monument Valley We All Have Been Waiting For
After a seven years my opinion is that sometimes directors, screenwriters and/or game developers want to celebrate their life achievments (marriage, children, divorce, …) with us and it is never a good thing. The second part of a great game is lacking
playability and the sugary lack-of-good-story is even worse than in original game, where playability and graphics made it so good that I’m giving this bad copy of a game 4 stars. All in all it is still a playable not-a-game-but-more-a-bad-story app.
