We now also support laser range finders from Bosch and Hilti. (The laser range feature is unlocked in the medium tier subscription) We've listened to our users feedback and have implemented loads of smaller features which facilitate planning and improve the overall user experience. This version boasts some significant changes. Features: • Palette Cloud: Palette CAD customers can user their login credentials to connect to the Palette Cloud and store and upload scene files to the cloud. This allows Palette Home scenes to be used across all supported platforms and devices. • Catch function: Objects now snap to each other when they are being dragged or scaled across the canvas. This function can be deactivated at any time by deselecting the checkbox “Align automatically”. • The screens for saving and loading scenes have been completely redesigned. • The internal file format has been revised and extended. Features: • Now supports the Leica D1, D110, D2 and X4 laser range finders • It is now possible to edit the spaces between rooflights and the distances to the walls. Bugfixes: • Fixed a bug where defect materials could cause the app to crash. • In 3D mode pitched roof areas sometimes falsely let in a beam of light from outside. • The scrollbar for the material variations was inverted. • Sometimes the preview buttons for material variations appeared to be grayed out. • Using several skylights could sometimes stop the 3D mode from being loaded correctly. • Several optimizations which reduce the memory footprint of furniture objects. • Fixed a bug which affected the drawing sequence of objects in the 2D planning mode.

Interior and front-walls: Interior and front-walls now have their own object configuration dialog. This allows for walls to be configured before placing them in the scene. The modified values can also be saved back to the object catalog. Interior walls now have a "position button" in their context menu. This brings up a window which enables the user to precisely position an interior wall which is connected to an outer wall. Interior objects: It is now possible to position interior objects precisely relativ to exterior and interior walls. Just press and hold (for at least 2 seconds) the distance values to bring up the on screen keyboard. Interior objects now have a cross symbol attached to them. You can use this to position the object within the scene without having to cover the object with your finger, as in previous versions. Miscellaneous: Many bugfixes and usability improvements.
