Description
Rain Alarm reliably warns you of rain or snow approaching your location using push notifications. Instead of predicting probabilities, we use real time data to warn you as soon as precipitation approaches you.
The app displays and animates the latest Doppler-radar images from many weather services around the world.
Rain Alarm is useful for everyone that likes to spend time outside and doesn’t want to get caught in the rain!

It is a good app, but has room for improvement
In general I like this app. But there is one big downside, which is also the reason why I will probably delete it. You cannot set radius distance for notifications about incoming rain. Instead it is set by by default and you will get notifications for rain that is at least 50 km away. I need it only for radius of about 15 km. This is also the reason why I give it only a three stars for a review.

Thanks a lot for using Rain Alarm. The default radius is 35 km, not 50. If you would like to set a different radius, then you'll have to purchase the extra settings from the extra features shop within the app. You can also buy the Pro version which has everything enabled and doesn't show any ads. Making everything premium?
As a developer I understand that you need to commercialize the product, but making features that determine how many notifications I get premium is insane.
The choice is between getting no notifications or 100 per week.

Hi, thanks for your comments. I am a bit confused by your reasoning regarding notifications. I am not sure whether you mean that the basic version send too few or too much notifications. In any case, the basic version will send you at most 1 notification every 30 minutes. This is actually enough to be reliably alerted of approaching rain in most situations. Best regards, Carlos.
