Garantom projektu Audiopoviedky.sk je Koloman Kertész Bagala, ktorý sa slovenskej literatúre venuje ako vydavateľ kníh od roku 1991. Od roku 1996 každoročne vyhlasuje literárnu súťaž Poviedka a z textov ocenených v tejto súťaži pre tento projekt nahral už vyše 50 hodín dramatizovaných čítaní. Projekt z verejných zdrojov podporil Fond na podporu umenia.
