The DoorBird App provides mobile access to DoorBird IP Video Door Stations. Using the app, you can see and hear your visitors in real time, speak with them or unlock the door. When visitors press your doorbell, you receive a push notification on your iPhone or iPad and can immediately answer your door – from anywhere in the world. The DoorBird can also send instant alerts when a visitor triggers the built-in motion sensor. No matter if you are at home or not, you will never miss a visitor or a delivery.

DoorBird's innovative IP technology was developed in Germany and is continuously improved through regular app and hardware updates. The system works in your local network (LAN) as well as outside of your home network environment without range limitation and securely encrypted over the Internet.

Does not funcion well on Andriod devices

Hi, just to share my observations, it will be 4 years since i got my Doorbird installed, all good except some minor isuues: let me explain below.

The app works well on iphone (iOS) and whenever a visitor pushed the bell button the iphone played a sound
- LAN only mode disabled
- phone connected to home WiFi
- I had an iphone8, 12 & 13

The app does not work well when having a phone with Andoid, the visitor pushed the bell button but the phone did not make any sound, no notification displayed whatsoever

- I had an Samsung A50, Huawei
It works well when installed newly for 2-3 weeks but then it stops ... so the workaround to solve it I had to uninstall and install the app newly

Hi, yes this is the right solution: Uninstall the app, reboot your smartphone and reinstall the app again. Add the door station to the app again.
