Is 5 stars too much...I think not.

Despite this being an evolving app, I fully stand by my 5 star rating. I just planned my first adventure. Typically I am only 10% planning 90% improve kinda dm. But, I just started a campaign with my nephews. 10 and 9. So I thought a bit more bells and whistles (and some solid planning) was in order.

I have been looking for a tool like this for a while and tried out a few. Some apps some web based. The other can’t compare. There is a bit of a learning curve, maybe 2 hours to get comfy with everything. Once you do. The ideas just keep coming. Almost as much fun as playing.

Working 100% from iPad so downloading mp3s and finding ogg songs and ambient tracks isn’t the easiest. And sometimes the UI is confusing (presented with cancel and edit) edit actually means save your changes. Sometimes you want to scroll through the creatures and you drag them onto the map. But the flexibility of the app makes up for the nit picky details.

MP3 iPad workaround. Open mp3 in safari. Share > save to Dropbox (must have Dropbox installed) > go to the file browser and download mp3 from cloud then long touch and move the file to epicGM folder.

Thanks for the great app, can’t wait to use it and see how it grows.
