I'm very upset over this application. There are so many fabulous apps that you can buy for a ridiculous $1... Take the Atomic Web Browser: that's an astounding software package for a ridiculously low price. It completely replaced Safari for me, for a single dollar.

So, I was expecting *great* things from an app that cost me €4. But I was shocked by what I received... G-Whizz is basically nothing more than a group of Safari tabs, offering you nothing more than opening that group of tabs manually in Safari would offer you, and in fact G-Whizz often seems to offer even less than Safari! (It crashes frequently.) It certainly offers far less than Atomic Web Browser, which is advertized as a standard browser.

Many of the component tabs in G-Whizz are actually dysfunctional. Good luck with loading Google Books; the app either crashes or nothing gets displayed. You only get to see the *mobile* version of Google Docs, and unlike in Atomic Web Browser, there is no way for you to switch your user-agent string to access the Google Docs advanced version on the iPad.

This app just forces its useless default settings on you, including Google News for Ireland (!). Hello? I'm not Irish, so why should I get to see Google News in the Irish edition as the default? If there's a way to customize the apps' default settings in G-Whizz, I haven't found it, and I did have a good look.

Sir, if you have any moral fiber in you, please offer to send me my €4 back. G-Whizz is just unusable. I believe Apple should seriously reconsider its Apps Store mode of operation; everyone should get an option to test an app on a trial basis, say at least for 60 minutes or so. I knew that G-Whizz was useless, within 5 minutes from first using it.

I got misled by the very high price-tag here, and was expecting grand things, an innovative integration of all Google apps services for the iPad. Don't make the same mistake.
