Our GARDENA smart system continues to grow. This season, we introduced our new device History. Clear illustrations help you understand and optimize your garden even better. We’ve also expanded how our smart system can be used together with Alexa, and we’ve further adapted it to your needs. In addition to the technical innovations, we’ve enhanced the design and have integrated even more SILENO settings into the app. What a season!

Again, the start of the gardening season brings exciting new features to the smart system. The new smart sensor with its soil analysis and many extensions for the Alexa voice assistant can already be discovered. Into the app, we have also newly integrated some advanced settings for the robotic lawnmower.

After many extensions in 2020 concerning the Alexa integration and the new options in our GARDENA smart system, we are far from being finished. For the new 2021 season, we are looking forward to introducing to you once again new devices and features for the smart system.

What last happened with the GARDENA smart system... What a season! Over the last months, we have again improved a lot: The new hibernation mode for all your devices, the adjustment of your mower to the position of the sun and the feature for your irrigation which is now coordinated with your local weather forecast. In addition, you can now connect a sensor to multiple devices and see at a glance when a device is offline.

Your robotic lawnmower now takes dawn and twilight into account to protect nocturnal animals and thus further improves your schedules. Devices that you do not want to use for a longer period now save all your settings in hibernation mode.

We have started preparing the upcoming gardening season - and are already offering some small improvements.

Based on numerous user feedbacks, we refined the process of connecting your GARDENA smart system with Apple HomeKit. From now on it’s even easier for you to get more smartness into your garden.
