I’m giving 2 stars because voice navigation in CarPlay doesn’t work properly. My iPhone language is set to English, but the Google Maps app is in Slovak. When I use Google Maps in CarPlay, I only hear a “ding” sound instead of voice directions (turn left/right, etc.).The voice instructions start working only after I manually open the Google Maps app on my phone. At that point, I can hear the directions through CarPlay as expected.This completely defeats the purpose of CarPlay, because I should not have to take my phone in my hand and open the app while driving just to get voice guidance. Please fix this behavior

ERROR: 70m GPS Lag & Blind Safety Hazard"Explore with confidence using Google Maps"—or as I call it, a direct invitation to suicide.I am a blind student and I am officially warning every visually impaired user: this app is a death trap. On iOS, the GPS lag is up to 70 meters. The voice guidance is so delayed that it announces an intersection when I am already in the middle of the road. Distances "jump" from 70m to 100m while walking—it’s inconsistent, dangerous, and technically broken.Google continues to ignore reports from Slovakia, leaving us with zero localized support (Be My Eyes is unavailable here) and broken feedback forms. Furthermore, they are gatekeeping the market by making it difficult for superior specialized apps like Seeing Assistant to operate.Your AI can generate art, but it can’t provide a safe polling rate for a white cane user. Fixing this by 2030 is not an option—I need to navigate safely today, not in another life. Autocorrect

Lately after of the updates my phone’s autocorrect started correcting whatever I enter into the search bar. It is really annoying as it almost always changes the address I enter into something else. Makes the quality of the user experience go downhill. It would be nice if I could separately turn off autocorrect for this and only this app. Thanks!
