Instagram updates

There is one thing that I absolutely hate about instagram and that is updates because let’s say new feature just drops on instagram and all of my friends got that feature accept me. And then I’m like maybe it’s because I have different phone or something like that and then I switch my accounts to my private and there I have the update like the rest of my friends. So my question is why my main account doesn’t have updated up to date ?

Layout

Instagram is one of my most used apps in my phone and i got really used to the layout. It was really nice, i had quick access to everything i needed. But then one day i saw that my Instagram got updated to the NEW LAYOUT. I was pretty much shocked. I still can’t get used to the new layout. I tried searching for a way to change it, but i failed to find a way of changing it back to original. The layout overall makes NO SENCE. Replacing the post button and notifications button with the reels and shopping button was a stupid idea, because i personally never use neither of the features. I am well avare of the fact that business accounts use the reels option more often, but average people like me don’t use it at all (at least i don’t really know anyone that would and is an Instagram user too). Facebook should have never bought this app, it just ruins it for me. Please add a change layout option to the app, i think people will appreciate it.

Dreadful

At this point, your only saving grace is that there isn’t an app popular enough to replace Instagram – not yet, anyway. It’s getting worse and worse with every update. The amount of adds, suggested posts and bots is unbearable. Users can’t turn the sound off in those video posts you’re pushing, so I personally just stopped scrolling through my feed – it’s not worth it when it keeps turning my music off every 15 seconds and blasts whatever “suggested” content you’re shoving down my throat on full volume when I’m just trying to see what the people I actually follow are up to. The new UI is terrible, the comments threads either don’t load or load in random order. The actually useful stuff (like responding to specific messages) isn’t available to everyone for whatever reason. Just stop. You’re doing it wrong.
