Important data in one place
Thanks to MyŠkoda Essentials you will always know how far you can go with your current fuel tank level. You can also easily check and display driving statistics such as current fuel consumption, distance covered, or trip length. Route planning feature and finding of parking spaces in your area will be make your each next trip a pleasure. And if you will forget where you parked there is always Parking location feature to help you. With Garage feature you will have all your Škoda cars neatly in one place and for each car you can easily access Digital manual for given model.
Remote control over your car
Various Škoda Connect packages allow you to control your car remotely. You can easily lock&unlock your vehicle or control your auxiliary heater, ventilation and air condition. Thanks to blink and honk feature you will never have to search for your car in a crowded parking lot.
Special features for electric vehicles
With MyŠkoda Essentials you can immediately check the battery charge status, and you can even remotely control the charging and climate control features, including setting up the charging limit or setting up departure timers for AC.
Service and maintenance features
You can display all the relevant messages for service or regular maintenance and also low oil or wiper fluid level notifications. However, you are also able to monitor overall health status of different components in you car such as engine, brakes, lights and many more. And if your vehicle’s system announces any defect, in MyŠkoda Essentials you can always learn more details. In the app you can also quickly find the contact info for your service partner along with their opening hours, so the next service booking will be a walk in the park.

Logout issues.
App is nice but it has too many logout issues. I tried to reinstall, same happens on iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Also communication with Auxiliary Heater is slower. I can’t select between heating and cooling instead it uses the option used last time. I hope to see some more improvements.

Good start, difinitely not a working app
First of all I appreciate that Skoda understands that a connected vehicle is a must these days. The app is the connection between driver and car.
Whenever you, however, start the app, you never kniw what is goung to happen - usually one of the followimg happens:
1. it shows logo but never gets beyond and freezes
2. it goes past the logi but forgets all yout cars - when you close the app and restart it suddenly it miraculously shows your cars
3. somwtimes it starts properly, it shows my car, but the communication with car dows not work (e.g. you press button to start pre-heating the car, but it ends up with error message that communication was unsuccessful - then you come to the car and sometimes despite of the error message the car is heated up despite of the fact that the app thinks nothing is turned on, but sometimes the heating is not turned on as the app properly shows)
4. and sometimes, everything works and you can’t believe it
Having an app is a good start, but theb the app has to work. I also have Tesla Model 3 and boy, Skoda needs to buy one as well to learn how they coded that thing because it just works.

Wrong sync too often
The app very often is super slow in comparison to the skoda connect website, status updates returns wrong data, e.g. shows car unlocked even do it is closed (skoda connect site is more accurate in case its able to reach the car, even in 4g range in cities) Using these service 3 years and the quality of the service is worse by time. Please consider replacing your IT development department reaponsible for these "new features"
