Available exclusively for Netflix members. Bring the catnip. Draw as many cards as you can, and do your best to dodge — or defuse — fatal felines. Or else, boom goes the dynamite! In this multiplayer, kitty-powered game of chance, players draw cards — until someone draws an exploding kitten and blows up. Then that player is out unless they have a defuse card. Defuse cards allow players to neutralize furry foes with laser pointers, belly rubs, catnip sandwiches or other diversions. All of the other cards in the deck can be used strategically to move, mitigate or avoid. Featuring original art by The Oatmeal.

Never Played A Game Without Bugs

I have the actual game of Exploding Kittens on another device. I enjoyed it so much that I bought the other party packs. I was excited to try this Netflix version on my new iPad, but I was disappointed with the amount of bugs. Half of the games I play never finish; the app freezes and no players can make any moves. I think that this happens each time a player leaves the room. Other times, the game plays my cards instantly after my turn comes, despite having other options. For example, it will use up my attack cards instead of letting me pick a card from the pile. Sometimes, the menu screen gets stuck on the screen despite joining a party… or when using a card, i.e. a radar, it stays on screen where you need to slide the card to the right, instead of resuming back to the game. The latter occurs frequently when someone “nopes” your move. Please fix these issues to provide a better game experience.
