Good app, great price
After 15+ hours working in this app I like it. It is simple to use, straightforward and has almost all the features I need. It would be nice to have more brushes to work with though :)
Great UX, but sloppy drawing performance.
This is the app with the best possible UX on the entire App Store (all important buttons neatly placed on the side of your nondominant hand so that your dominant one can be occupied with drawing) hands down.
I can’t seem to get over the laggy performance during drawing on iPad 2018 (9,7”) which is especially noticable in comparison to Procreate, Animation Desk or ArtStudio.
All of them perform better on much larger resolutions than the default sub-HD on this app.
Even playing with settings didn’t help.
Putting the “Preview resolution - current layer” setting lower simply made the drawing experience even more unbearable (due to the low resolution) and didn’t add much to the performance either.
I would like to, however, thank the developer for the UX. No matter which animation app I use, I’m still drawn to this one and wish that it’s performance can be eventually improved.
