Greatest app I’ve ever had. But I’m disappointed
The app overall is great, implementation of an Apple Pencil is beautiful. You have to get used to it’s features like every PC version of CAD.. But there’s one HUGE leap back.. that set this CAD software back to the other ones. And that’s the pricing. If the app could be bought that would be completely good, but your only option is $20/month on subscription. Yeah it’s cheap compared to other PC CAD’s but this is not very convenient us student who want to create but don’t have a stable job to pay something that expensive monthly. I’m sorry but I can’t review this app positive, because for me it’s too expensive and that was the thing, that made me uninstall it.
Best app I ever use on iPad
I’m the proud to be user of this app. It’s working perfectly on iPad Pro. You can create your ideas everywhere. Usefull, Great 👍. Perfect price. Working offline 💯 %. I’m using this app almost 2 years .
Quite nice
The app itself works quite nice, it’s quite handy with the pencil and offers functionality which covers most of my requirements.
One bug though - when drawing a line, the distance is shown off screen when working on lower scale than a meter. Even with that scale it’s pretty far away. As this is quite essential functionality I rate only 3 stars.
[EDIT]: So they fixed that, now its much easier to see what is going on.
The biggest negative remains the restriction to 3 designs. As these cannot be backed up and loaded later there is no way to free the slots in free version. I understand its free, but the pricing for a pro version is quite high when compared to sketchup web(i believe its cca 2x).
So for people doing some hobby 3d printing or furniture making 3 slots are just not enough and the price too high.
[EDIT]: so they reduced the designs to 2. So now i have one locked with my design. Thanks a lot.
And I also must say that the inability to import stl files in these complicated times - that's just wrong.
And the pricing is crazy. The tool is nice but 250 eur per year is too much.
