What’s New
• This week’s is not a huge update, but let that not convince you it’s unimportant. They can’t all be red-letter days (or updates), but each day we’re here is a good one. This update is a good one too.

Useful app, sometimes slower to work with than on Mac

Overall works great on iPad, but has some bugs:
- When I switch from another app, I can see that image on my post in a channel is someone else’s profile pic
- I’d prefer to see the format options for text always
- It’s frustrating I can’t select specific part of text from a post/message
- It also bugs me I can’t remove link previews from my post on iPad
- It’d be nice if I could move conversations from Direct Messages to another group (not sure what you call this) that I created
- Actually it’d be also nice if group conversations weren’t in Direct Messages but were automatically separated to Groups or something like that

Can’t stop notifications, even on vacation

I have a one week vacation, so naturally I set Slack to stop all notifications. First thing Slack does is send me an email with all the work related messages I’ve missed. And keeps doing it every single day, even though my settings in the app are clearly set as DND with all notifications off. In addition to that, the app keeps showing me new notifications. I checked again and yes, I have notifications turned off in app settings.
So thank you Slack for harassing me on my vacation and ignoring my app settings, much appreciated.

Why different app??

I am using slack for years, lately I noticed when I want to send a Direct message I can’t find that particular person. But when I so the same steps on mac I can. Please fix this it is very frustrating to start a conversation in some channel a take it to private.
