Endless wait clone but fun

I have played this game with a different time many times before but I love the more tactical approach to battles here. Also feels very down to earth :)

It’s about money…

Well, at first it was fun game. Not bad to play. Good design, lots of interesting stuff. Only later you realise you need a real money for it to be able to keep up with everything. And lot of it. If you don’t spend 500$ a month, you ain’t nobody. Your progress will slow down in few weeks, players investing heavily will beat you up all the time. You purchase few packs and the developers have you. They come up with new ideas how to squeeze even more from you. In the end you find out yourself bullied into buying more, events that are impossible to complete for f2p ( and miss on top prices) or discriminated agains paying players. I have found a good clan. Nice people. We chat a lot, have laugh. Win and lose together. This is what keeps me in the game. But I have seen people leave, players that spend few hundreds of even thousands of bucks. You try to raise an issue with customer service. Well, non existing thing…

Good game, but ..

The game is good, pretty deep you have to manage your army, level of buildings and troops, you collect resources and then attack other players or mobs on a map. This game is one of the most complex game you can get on phone and it’s pretty fun to play, too. But, the aggressive microtransaction model is simply outrageous. Practically on every screen you have a chest, or “helper” that you need to buy so you won’t have to wait 2 days for 1 building to finish upgrading. They somehow managed to fill the game with 10 different kind of shops, several types of currencies and also every resource can be bought for real money. Moreover, the more you pay, the more you gain a “VIP level” that provides you with additional bonuses like troop power. This game is straight up pay-to-win and it’s not even trying to hide it.
