CopyOnce consolidates collecting files from multiple sources with different attributes over long periods of time. It adapts to different use cases through 
- multiple copy profiles or "copiers", which can be enabled and disabled
- flexible file filtering: full path, directory name or file name
- copier specific or global log "blacklist"

For instance, bringing together photo files from multiple servers, several directories in different resolutions: the latest photos may be copied from the source with full resolution, older ones from sources with smaller file size while still keeping one copy of each photo. For example: if you have a large photo catalogue, you might want to use CopyOnce to collect selectively all new images since previous upload to be imported to Apple Photos.
