The Angry Birds have had a few different outings since their first smash hit in 2010. But Angry Birds Evolution may just be their most interesting adventure yet. Why? Because this time they’re taking their rage into the third dimension.
The birds are still angry, the pigs are still evil, and the fight for Bird Island is still very much on. But this time there’s no catapult. Instead you’ll send up to five super-powered birds onto a 3D battlefield for some turn-based fighting. With a swipe of your finger you’ll propel your birds forward to take out as many pigs as possible and try to withstand their attacks in return.
While a solo bird can do some damage, you’ll need to build up a flock and combine the super-skills of five different classes if you want to beat Bacon Corp – especially during challenging boss battles.
When you win a fight, you’ll also win eggs: hatch them and grow your team as you play. You can also level up the birds you already have to create a team that would put The Avengers to shame.
There are more than 100 new feathery fighters to choose from – all with their own personalities and special powers. You’ll even be able to unlock some rare birds in special weekly events.
Angry Birds Evolution is a compelling addition to the Angry Birds arsenal.
