SmART/Tech is an intelligent Bluetooth innovation that enhances art collections both while on display and in transit. Developed by Crown Fine Art.
Our specialist team has in-depth knowledge of transporting and protecting our clients’ objects. We have taken what we know and blended it with the latest technology to create an all-round richer viewing experience, which is smarter, more secure and has conservation at the forefront of its development.
SmART/Tech connects, protects and preserves your collection.
The app is Bluetooth Beacon and GPS enabled. This is to show you relevant content based on your location.
The app also uses Location Services and Bluetooth Low Energy to determine your location when the app is running in the background. It will trigger notifications when you are close to a location of interest. We have used GPS and Bluetooth Low Energy in a power-efficient way. However, as with all apps that use location, please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
