Description

145 Talking Flashcards and Fun Memory Game for practicing articulation of multi-syllabic word. Used by speech therapists and parents for artic practice.

This application is a great clinical tool for a speech therapist, but it is also used by parents to help children practice producing 2, 3 and 4 syllable words. For children who use the phonological process of weak syllable deletion, this app is especially helpful. For English Language Learners, this app can be used to practice syllable stress. A fun and visually appealing matching game keeps users motivated to practice while they play.

Articulate Multi-syllabic Words was created by an ASHA certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. The app consists of 115 images with optional spoken words and text, providing multi-syllabic word practice through auditory bombardment or flashcard drilling. Words have been chosen which give the user practice in producing words with:
• 2 syllables, first stressed
• 2 syllables, second stressed
• 3 syllables, first stressed
• 3 syllables, second stressed
• 3 syllables, third stressed
• 4 syllables
