Footsies 9+

Have a blast playing Footsies for iMessage! Select from a variety of animated emoji-style footsie videos to exchange via interactive messages. Just open the App Drawer to start a new footsie game, or tap on an existing Interactive Message during gameplay to continue a session of Footsies. How to play:

The tension scale is used to display the "tension" between two players, and is reflected in the sub-caption throughout the game as well as in the vertical slider when selecting a message. The goal is to reach the maximum tension, but we recreated the suspense of real-life footsies with various features to make things interesting.

You can enable the button option to increase the tension goal with your next footsie to make the session last longer, or to wrap it up you can select the countdown timer for the session to expire if the goal isn't reached in time. Or to make them wait you may want to enable the freeze button to freeze the session where only you can thaw it when you're ready to allow the game to continue.

All the features can be selected in combinations as well, such as selecting the freeze button and the countdown timer at the same time so that the other player knows that as soon as you thaw the session, the clock is ticking for the two of you to meet the goal. Or if they set a timer on you and you want to have a little fun with the other player, you can just keep increasing the goal as they try and reach it and let the session time out. You can even freeze the session while the countdown is active and the countdown will resume where it left off after the session is thawed.

For the tension scale, each of the footsies are assigned a random number of points within a specified interval that contribute to the current number of tension points. The playful category contributes the least amount of points, risqué a bit more, and raunchy adds the most amount of points. Then there's the agitated, warning, and objection categories which decrease the current number of points with objection decreasing tension the most. Finally, the just-for-fun cozy category keeps the number of points the same.

The tension increase button option similarly raises the second number in the sub-caption, the tension goal, by a randomly assigned value between a specified set.

The settings page allows you to customize the layout of the Footsies interactive messages. Once a game starts, the original sender's settings can't be changed during that session. Open the app anew to start a new session. Also, use the Ditto button in the middle to immediately reciprocate with the same footsie type received. Enjoy!
