Description

The Blessed Hope Translation (BHT) is an English translation of the New Testament that seeks to creatively and transparently integrate the strengths of different translation philosophies, for the purpose of communicating the message of Jesus and the apostles clearly and effectively. On the BHT App you will find three versions of the Blessed Hope Translation: (1) a version with full translator’s notes (including technical translator’s notes, commentary, and cross-references); (2) a version with abridged translator’s notes (with most technical notes removed); and (3) a reader’s version with minimal footnotes (footnotes in this version being limited mostly to Old Testament quotations and allusions, some alternate renderings, and verses found in some manuscripts but not in others). For more information about the Blessed Hope Translation, visit blessedhope.life. May God use this translation to help you continue fixing your eyes on the hope of the gospel.

What’s New

Version 1.1.1

In this update, a number of typos have been corrected (thanks to Beckie G. and a number of others in helping to spot these!), and, in some places, more substantial modifications are reflected (e.g., from “written code” to “the Law” at Rom. 3:21 and other places). May the Lord use this updated version to keep our eyes fixed on the hope of the gospel!
