Decibel Meter is an app intended for objective, real-time measurement of ambient noise and sound levels. It is intended for noise pollution control with the aim to protect the health of its users. The app displays quantitative noise level values in decibels using various measurements both in numerical and graphical form.
The app also features a fully functional noise level meter to measure the user’s noise exposure over a period of time according to NIOSH and OSHA (to be chosen by the user).
FEATURES:
• Measure noise level in decibels (dB);
• Track minimum (MIN), average (AVG) and maximum (MAX) sound levels;
• Record measurement results;
• Save, export and play recorded measurements;
• Photos and videos with the ambient noise level overlay;
• Noise level meter compliant with NIOSH and OSHA.
The app was created with the purpose to prevent negative noise effects on the health of its users.
