MEMBERSHIP DETAILS
Ate Food Diary is a subscription app with a 7-day FREE trial for new subscribers. The subscription gives you full, unlimited access to the app- no hidden fees, gated features, or ads. It enables Ate to continuously provide new features and updates while maintaining a private and secure environment for you to journal in.

Subscriptions created in the app are processed and managed by Apple. Your credit card will be charged through your Apple App Store account when you confirm your purchase. Subscription renews automatically at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the subscription term. You can manage subscriptions in Account Settings in the Apple App Store after purchase. Refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the subscription term.

Version 3.13.2

Add custom backgrounds when sharing your day, the ability to share your entire Day Recap with details, and the option to add notes while taking a food photo are just some of the changes in this release.

What's new:
• Ability to customize the background of the "Share your day" cards. (We would love to hear how you use this feature so we can further enhance it to meet your needs!)
• Ability to share the entire Day Recap view. (Just scroll to the bottom and tap on share.)
• The option to enter food notes while logging. (Just tap on the notes section after taking a picture of your food. This is optional. You can also come back later to add/edit the food notes.)
• Ability to filter which journal entries show up on the "Share your day" cards. (Just tap on the settings icon on the share view.)
• Ability to change how time-based reminders are sorted in the reminders view. (Tap on the settings icon in the view.)
• Ability to change which image shows on top when combining food images in a single entry. (You can change this in Settings, under "Combined food to display".)
• Ability to show up to 20 entries on the "Share your day" cards.
• Other bug fixes and optimizations around image uploads, Text-only meals, loading times, invites, and offline support.

Highly recommended 😊

I’ve used Ate for over a year now, and as someone who has struggled with her relationship with food for most her life... it was so great to find a way to track my meals (that doesn’t focus on numbers or trigger disordered behavior) and allow my support system to help keep me on track

Taking a photo is really easy, and it doesn’t involve any numbers.. the main focus on the app is how you feel and listening to your body. Yay for intuitive eating!

The ability for my friends to check in on what I’ve eaten can be really helpful for when I slip up- and it’s nice that I can check their food too if we are being accountability buddies.

I personally haven’t really used the other tracking factors as routinely (e.g. tracking my mood and hunger levels) mainly out of laziness, but I can see how it can be really helpful to have that record.
