You can run tvheadend on a linux device, plugin in a tv card and an antenna and you have full a free DVR with bowerbird. This app is designed for simplicity and ease of set up. The UI should be familiar if you have used any DVR. Browse the program guide, watch live tv. Play your finished recordings and skip ads (30s skip) with a swipe while watching a recording, swipe back for 10 second skip back.

Wasted time
Useless app, only show EPG but can’t play any channel, then I tried tvheadclient with the same server, just play all TV channel flawlessly, either HD or SD doesn’t matter.
