UNRAVEL THE MYSTERY
Follow the echoes of a lost civilization in a visually-stunning post-apocalyptic world where only robots survive to fight a never-ending war. Fight towards your goal and piece together the fragments to reveal exactly what happened when the old world ended. Is this the dawn of a new Epoch? This upgrade is good.
The boss in easy mode is a lot easier than before upgrade. Damage it deal is lower and send 1 dynamite which is nice.
But it seems a bit more lag this time.

A move in the right direction
Epoch has an intuitive control scheme for an iOS device swiping moves you around the screen, but like so many graphical power houses, the play mechanic will not leave us as satisfied as plants vs zombies or angry birds. As iOS games go, this is probably the best shooter. The weapon system is also good, you earn new rifles including a corrosive shot and a laser and the combinations and differences between these weapons provide some depth and make the game play radically different. Epoch's problem is that unlike console power houses, the story isn't there. iOS classics like angry birds contain a fairly simple plot, something was taken, go get it, but their play systems are deep and engrossing in ways that epoch is not. Imagine a big budget console shooter with out the story line and you get the basis of epoch, slide and shoot and dash, the game is better than game loft's rather sad attempts at console core gamer fare, epoch is still short of engrossing play mechanics that have made iOS titles shine. It is though a move in the right direction and should be commended for providing a big budget core gamer look and a play mechanic that gets stale quickly, but is perfectly suited to the iOS. I will be showing it to all my friends.
