Lack user friendly interface.
The interface is a bit difficult to get used to. I'd be great to keep it simple and user friendly.
Lack many features and options
I am a professional translator and decided to give this app a try. I bought full version of this app and despite the fact that it is quite easy to use, it lacks so many standard, useful features.
*There’re no keyboard shortcuts: There are no way I can go from the current section I am translating to the next, using keyboard. I have to leave the keyboard area and use mouse pad to click on the arrow button on the screen EVERY TIME I want to go to the next section. I am use to keyboard shortcut so much when using other subtitle platform (mostly just click on ‘tab key’ or ‘enter’ to go to the next section) and not being able to do that really is a big time wasted on my part when working on files.
**I also would want to be able to move sections around. For example, on the interface right now the space for you to input you subtitle is right up the top on the left which isn’t quite convenient since when I want to go click on it to type in the sub, the mouse go touch the top part of the screen and mac’s menu appear and cover the space to input sub so very often. I want to be able to move this space down somewhere so I can see things clearer.
***There should be an option where you can set ‘character limit’ for each subtitle section. Most time, my work comes with set character limit (ex. Max 35 characters per line). So, it’ll be useful and very convenience to be able to set this up so that I wouldn’t have to count the characters myself every time.
