Most of the data for the database was assembled in the early 90's, in an effort to create the world's most complete encyclopedia on commercial wood species. The Wood Explorer covers 1,650 species in great depth. Many of our wood images originated from an exclusive contract we had with the U.S. Forest Products Laboratory, and are not available anywhere else.

In this application there is some features that we covered,
1- Wood Species
In this, We gave a list of species data that is sorted by A - Z by name.
All species having there "Scientific Name", "Trade Name", "Family Name", "Common Names" and "Synonyms".
Each Species having all data, use old wood species, images, colors, texture and features or advantages etc.
You can also search species by all there names, desceiptions and synonyms.
