You enter the game as Detective Orpheus, who upon receiving a curious commission letter, embarks on solving the mystery of a missing girl. Orpheus believes he suffers from memory loss following an accident some 10 years ago. But he’s about to uncover a truth that he will wish he could forget…
The setting is an eerie manor and its vast grounds – the last place the girl was seen. Each room in the manor is dark and more dilapidated than the last, but the real find is anonymous diary pages that speak of an even murkier past. As he digs up the clues, Orpheus will lead you into this chilling chapter.
Gameplay takes the format of four survivors versus one hunter. As a survivor, team up with the others, decode cipher machines and break out of the manor. Miss a beat, and you’ll alert the hunter to your presence. So act fast and stay out of sight, for the hunter knows no mercy.
Reverse the roles and your objective is to capture all survivors. Unlock your predatory skills to track down and eliminate your targets one by one.
Hunt or be hunted: either way, the chase will leave your nerves frayed and adrenaline rushing.
Identity V will quickly pull you into its gothic Victorian horror show, with its grey and gloomy visuals as well as characters spooky and strange. The effects may be bleak and oppressive, but the action is anything but.
Each character reveals a side to the story you must discover by throwing yourself into the chase time and again. There are endless enigmas in this world to unravel. Enter, if your nerves can take it.
