Sky: Children of the Light
Play Together with Compassion
What will you find when you reach for the sky?
From innovative development studio thatgamecompany (the same team behind indie hits Flower and Journey), comes another beautiful action game – Sky: Children of the Light. Spread your wings and be taken on an adventure towards an ever-expanding horizon.
No one said flying would be easy though – you’ll need to master your wingbeat frequency and navigate turbulence. But fear not, along the way you’ll encounter other players who will hold your hand as you travel to the furthermost edges of the skies.
In Sky you play a child of light exploring a wondrous world divided into seven realms, like the cheerful Isle of Dawn and the mysterious Hidden Forest. Your cloak, which you energise by skimming over clouds or absorbing light scattered about the world, lets you soar with a fluid grace.
With your trusty candle, you illuminate the world of Sky bit by bit. Ignite beacons to open doors or wield flame to bring frozen figures back to life. As you encounter characters, creatures and spirits, this world’s secrets slowly come to light.
Although you can play Sky solo, the game encourages collaboration. Use gestures and emotes to signal to other players that you’re available to lend a hand – or that you need help cracking a puzzle (many require several players to solve). Whether you’re drifting past colossal mountains or solving environmental brainteasers, Sky’s message of discovery and camaraderie is unabashedly uplifting.
Prepare for take-off.
