Rogue Legacy

A Genealogical Rogue-"LITE"

View

This challenging action game isn’t for the faint of heart, but luckily you’ll have the might of your family behind you. In a manner of speaking.

In Rogue Legacy, you fight through a vast pixel-art castle, facing ghouls and monsters and floating wizards. Every time you die, you start again as your character’s descendant.

And you will die often, because the game can be unforgiving. But each new descendant has different traits and abilities to test your mettle. Some are useful (like super-strength that makes them resist loads of damage) and some are… not so much (like the one that makes everything appear upside-down).

Death doesn’t mean the end in Rogue Legacy, it’s just a chance for a family legacy to grow.

With each run you can save a little money for your family members to come, find new blueprints to craft weapons at the blacksmith and open portals to other areas of the castle.

The controls are simple enough: with one thumb players control an onscreen joystick to move their little knight, while with the other you push touchscreen buttons to jump, attack and interact.

You’ll need to use all the skills at your disposal to master Rogue Legacy, uncover the secrets of the past and fight your way through the castle. What lies at the end? It’ll take many generations to find out.
