Welcome to KSWM AM 940 News Talk Streaming App! KSWM AM 940 has been in existence since 1961 and has had a long tradition of community-oriented approach to both programming and news reporting. The call letters for KSWM were picked by Galen Gilbert, the creator. The K stands for a station west of the Mississippi, and SWM stands for Southwest Missouri. Our listeners know that they can trust the news, weather, local sports, community affairs and good neighbor policy demonstrated by KSWM. Our sports coverage includes NASCAR and we are proud to be the home of Aurora Houn Dawg High School Sports.
