From the moment it leaves the estate to the moment it enters our shop, each wine at the Princeton Corkscrew Wine Shop is stored and transported with strict temperature control. Our shop is kept at 58°, year-round, to ensure the wine is fresh and vibrant at your table. Whether the wine costs $8 or $80, we believe it is our responsibility to provide our customers the best opportunity to experience each winemaker's vision and process, just as if you were tasting these wines at the estate itself.

Great wines are always made in the vineyard.

Every producer represented at the Princeton Corkscrew Wine Shop believes that the only way to make great wine is to tend their vines as the best of us tend our gardens. For all the wonderful, modern winemaking techniques that exist today, none can transform bad grapes into good wine.

Wine should reflect its terroir.

At the Princeton Corkscrew Wine Shop, we only sell “terroir wine.” The soil in which the grapes are grown, the minerals the vine absorbs from the earth and the idiosyncrasies of each appellation’s weather should all be echoed in the wine.

Wine is to be enjoyed!

Wine is as much about family, friends and enjoying life as it is about farmers and winemakers, grapes and vineyards. Wine is to be examined, studied, commented upon and critiqued, but above all, it is to be enjoyed!
