Description

VK Teams is a secure user application for collaborative work by employees from any device with access to VK WorkSpace services. The app is issued by the administrator who supports corporate software in your company. If your company uses VK Teams, contact your IT support.

Messenger
Communicate in private and group chats, subscribe to news channels. Send text with bulleted and numbered lists, quotes, and hyperlinks. React to messages, send emojis, stickers, and locations. Transcribe voice messages and conduct polls.

Chat Features
Schedule delayed sending, react, and use selective quoting to respond to part of a message. Optimize photos and videos or send files in full size—up to 4 GB. Create folders with dialogs, channels, and groups, archive inactive chats, and pin important ones to have them at hand. Disable notifications in chats and channels you will read later—temporarily or permanently.
Discussions — separate threads within chat Use discussions to quickly find information and avoid distracting colleagues not involved in a specific question.

Video Conferences
Call colleagues one-on-one, schedule group online meetings, and host webinars for up to 300 people. Invite external users to the call. Mute microphones, confirm or reject user participation, remove participants from the call. Communicate and assign tasks in the meeting chat. Send call recordings to participants.

Tasks
Set tasks in a separate tab or from a chat, track completion notifications. Set deadlines, add tags, and mark tasks with flags. Communicate in discussions—separate chats in task cards.

Mail
Corporate mail on your domain. Send and receive emails, group them into threads, create filters, and set up shared access to folders and mailboxes.

Calendar
Plan your schedule through a single access point—the corporate calendar. Schedule meetings, attach files to them, and create call links. Customize notifications and share calendar access with colleagues.

Contacts
Find colleagues in contacts: in the address book of only your company's employees. Help newcomers adapt—you can quickly find any colleague by full name, email, or position. Add and remove users, synchronize with Active Directory to manage accounts.

Chatbots and Corporate Applications
Create bots to quickly receive notifications from corporate systems. Create and integrate mini-applications through which employees can receive useful information and submit requests to corporate systems—such as vacation or payroll requests.

Key Improvements

— Added Chat Archiving Feature

* This feature allows you to remove unnecessary chats from the main chat list, simplifying navigation and making it easier to find important conversations. The "Archive" section is located at the top of the chat list, where you can find archived personal chats, channels, and groups

You can archive a chat using one of the following methods

* Right-click on the desired chat in the list to open the context menu, then select "Archive"
* Go to the chat information section and select "Archive"

Calls

— When joining a call via a link, users can now configure their devices. On the setup screen, users can preview their appearance and toggle the microphone, camera, or sound on or off before entering the call. This setup screen will automatically appear in each link-based call unless this feature is disabled in the settings

— Moderators now have the ability to enable a waiting room in conferences. In the waiting room, users can adjust their microphone, camera, and sound settings and preview their appearance. Participants will remain in the waiting room until the moderator admits them to the call


Key Fixes

Chats

— The app no longer crashes when attempting to access a chat from the "Discussions" section

— Text with a link in a message is no longer duplicated when sending the message in a chat

— When applying a bulleted or numbered list to text, the order of items no longer breaks and matches the sequence in the input field before sending the message

— When adding a long link to a highlighted word in the message input field, the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons no longer move out of the window bounds

— The unread message counter now disappears immediately after the message is read

— User avatars in personal chats, group chats, and channels no longer disappear after the app is updated

— Fixed an issue that caused multiple identical chat folders to be created

— Fixed a partial malfunction of text formatting using keyboard shortcuts

— A message sent from another platform no longer appears as a draft

— When scrolling through chats using keyboard shortcuts, you will now only navigate through chats in the "All" folder, ignoring those in the "Archive" folder

Calls

— Fixed an issue where the call window would freeze after the call ended

— Fixed an issue where the app would automatically close during screen sharing

General

— Fixed a partial malfunction of the window-closing function when pressing Esc on the keyboard

— The app no longer forcefully closes when opened from a minimized state

— Fixed an issue where the app would crash when typing a message in a chat
