Kitcal® is a specially designed tablet that helps parents, grandparents and mature relatives stay socially connected to their whanāu and friends.

Simply download the app and follow the prompts to register and start sharing photos, videos and messages straight to your relative’s Kitcal® tablet.

Two Types of Companion

Carer Companions
Each Kitcal® device has a ‘carer’ who acts as administrator (usually the person that has purchased the device). If you are the carer companion, this app will allow you to customise the Kitcal® tablet including calendar events, requesting ‘check-ins’ and inviting others to connect.

Social Companions
‘Social companions’ are any friends and family outside of the main administrator. If you are a social companion this app enables you to share photos, videos and messages with Kitcal® and receive emoji or pre-set text replies.

Multilingual Support
Kitcal® is available in English, Te Reo, Samoan, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
