TLDR: This update implements workarounds for Apple’s bugs so that all one sec features work again.

More detailed version:

This update of one sec fixes a bug introduced by Apple with macOS Sequoia (macOS 15.0) and Safari 18.0.

Apple has unfortunately introduced a bug that causes permanent data loss (one of the worst bug categories that exist).

All statistics and settings are lost after updating to macOS Sequoia.

Yeah, we’re upset as well.

But there’s nothing we can do.

To top if off, they have also introduced a new bug in Safari 18.0.1 in attempt to fix the previous issue.

Now their storage API isn’t behaving according to the specification anymore.

This update of one sec compensates for that.

If you have both Safari 18.0.1 and one sec 1.3.1 installed on your Mac, you can finally enjoy using one sec and all its features again!
