Over the course of an entire 6 month DBT Course, you will go through four Modules:
• Mindfulness
• Distress Tolerance
• Emotion Regulation
• Interpersonal Relationship Communication

This is the basis for any DBT Course, and there is no better way to reap the benefits of DBT than by DOING DBT. That is exactly what these four apps are for. Each of these four apps comes with a complete set of app tools to help you not only learn DBT skills, but also practice them, grow from them, and make it easy to do them. Here is a brief description of what each module does for us as individuals:

- Mindfulness is necessary because it helps us to see the world as it is. As a basis for all other skills, mindfulness makes all other DBT Skills more effective, and without it, close to useless. Of course, we are already to some degree mindful, meaning that we don't need to practice Mindfulness to get benefit from the other skills. Yet, by practicing mindfulness, we are in essence improving our Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Communication skills.
- Distress Tolerance is a set of skills that helps to exist in times of extreme crisis... WITHOUT making things worse. No, these skills don't focus on improving your life in the longterm. They focus on helping you to stop from moving backwards in your life. Sometimes life will bring us self harm thoughts, or make us want to verbally or physically attack someone, or make us want to escape in some way. These skills are here to make it so that we don't want up the next morning having to do cleanup for all the havoc we made.
- Emotion Regulation: These skills are about feeding yourself good emotions, and not giving yourself bad emotions. Longterm and short-term skills that help you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Learn to have a life worth living, while at the same time living a life with happiness each and every day. Yes, we need balance. These skills will help you to keep your emotions level so you can think clearly and thus: make your life better!
- Interpersonal Communication: Most of us who have communication issues basically have this problem: We either have trouble asking for what we really want, or we have trouble saying no. In order to do this, we need to dispel some false assumptions that many of us subconsciously have (like that we don't deserve to ask for what we want, or that if someone says no, we'll just die). And when we dispel these notions, and with practice, we can learn to ask not only for what we want, but be more precise with our language, knowing what we want, and without doing it in a way that offends others in our relationship, or ruins our self esteem (you know, like someone who either never asks for what they want and feels bad... or the flip side, using someone to get your objective, and then feeling guilty about it later).
