Things are getting better

In my previous review I criticized the game balance and the resetting of game progress. After the last update things seem to get better. Most importantly they listen to feedback. Some notes:

I think the freeze attack that requires constant tapping on the item does not fit this game, it conflicts the idle part (set&forget), I like being able to play this game whilst doing other stuff. Freeze makes me constantly stare at the screen, which is not ideal for me at least.

Also the late levels get increasingly more crit & aoe & snare reliant, which limits choice.

This is a simple but fun game, suitable for people who loved more complex rpg games in their early years but don’t have the time anymore :D This game still satisfies some of that and still simple enough.

Unfortunately, some players experienced a setback with our latest update as it inadvertently hid their past progression. This issue arose due to changes in our save system aimed at future-proofing it for cloud saving, ironically causing this unintended consequence. However, rest assured, the progression is not lost; it's simply not converting properly.
A patch is already available and should restore your progress fully.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will hope that you’ll enjoy it. Regarding the game design topic, lots of new systems are coming to make it enjoyable on the long term and economy and difficulty are still a work in progress as we have to balance it for every new feature we push live. We sincerely thank every early player who sometime endure perfectible balancing.
