Falcon Mx is a DICOM viewer specifically designed for the needs of modern mac computers and mobile devices (iPhone/iPad).
It displays DICOM format images from all modalities including Xrays, CT, MRI, US (ultrasound), etc.
It allow users to store, organize, view, or share their medical images, for health record-keeping purposes.

Falcon Mx requires an active subscription, after the initial 3 day FREE trial.

Subscriptions automatically renew on each term (either monthly, bi-annual or yearly) from the date of original purchase (unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period). Does not support Family Sharing.
Subscriptions may be managed within iTunes Account Settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

Much better after updates

Hello from Turkey, again!
I had given one star when the app first appeared in the AppStore. Now, after all those updates, I feel it is disrespectful to give only one star. The current version is almost complete, way better than the first version, so I give 4 stars.
I use the app for reviewing my patients’ cardiac angiograms and CT images in my daily practice. Scrolling with gestures is good, but I would love to be able to view in a cine mode.

Lacking PET CT functions

I think this app - apart from Mac version - doesn’t have capabilities to evaluation of PET images. It even has no fusion function or I cannot find it (hidden somewhere). Need serious upgrade.

Thanks for your feedback. Horos Mobile does not have PET CT fusion capabilities and neither is advertised as such. It can display PET CT scans but not fuse them. If you want this particular feature to be implemented please submit a feature enhancement to our development team. If we receive enough votes we will consider adding it to our future development plan.

better but not enough

The app is improving itself, and that's gratifying. However, it still has significant shortcomings. It would be an excellent app if these issues were resolved. The shortcomings I found

It is very important to query the patients in order of date and time from the pacs, because it sorts all the patients on the selected date in alphabetical order when you query.
Absence of saved filters on the patient query screen, like “mr today” “ct yesterday”.
The fact that there is no dicom download feature in the background, but if this feature happens, we can continue to use the iPad while also downloading dicom files.
If the reported dicom files are checked, they can also appear in the read reports.
It would be nice to be able to set the screen options from the settings when the reporting screen opens. Like “1x2”, “1x3”.
If the sound recording feature is displayed on the reporting screen, the sound recording can be shared with the cloud by reporting with the application without the need for any other tool for dicom reporting. This feature will make radiologists working remotely very comfortable.
