Hala Türkçe karakter desteği gelmedi.

Yıllar önce bir hevesle almıştım bu app’i. O zaman da Türkçe karakter desteği yoktu, şimdi (Mart 2024) de yok. Türkçe karakter desteği gelse çok makbule geçecek.

Well thought out, and equally thoughtful

I came across this app by chance, initially looking for apps designed for writers. One article compiling such suggestions mentioned Hanx Writer, mainly for its aesthetic, and the experience it provides. Without need for further convincing, I downloaded the free version. The layout is simply beautiful, and the 'typewriter' is positioned so nicely on the screen, it's not that difficult to type directly on the screen (given that the tablet is propped up, otherwise the experience might differ) - though I use an Apple keyboard. In all honesty, it's the best of all keyboards I have ever written on, and its smoothness for me is unprecedented, but the Hanx Writer did something more : I felt the overall typing experience was even smoother, and much quicker. For lack of better wording, the app instantly fuels expression, and gets the creative juices flowing. I find myself not having to think about what I'm writing - I just do, as if the words pour themselves out. Naturally, at this point, I was curious about the other typewriters. In all honesty, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that each paid typewriter could be tested out for free, and not just once either! Being able to use them, as opposed to being shown screenshots of what the fonts look like, was not only more effective in gaining a paying customer, it was also really thoughtful on the developer's part. The kindness was even more marking than the absolutely amazing experience, and ultimately what lead me to make a purchase. You can use the app happily and fulfillingly without having to purchase other 'typewriters' (which is great!) but I did enjoy spoiling myself with a nice multi-sensory experience that provides such a soothing calmness to me. Hanx Writer is certainly one of the most cherished applications I have, which gives me best of all worlds : the audio (and visual, despite the obvious limitations in two dimensional renderings) experience of a beautiful typewriter, combined with the portable convenience of a sleek modern device. I can't wait to study for my finals on the app!
