Description

LABYRINT is a two-part work of art, consisting of a physical labyrinth, supplemented with a growing layered audio experience through this app.

Every year the Rebelbass Foundation invites an artist to add a new audio layer to LABYRINT. In 2024 it is Albert van Abbe, who brings together the two worlds in which Aïda lived with an edited version of one of Aïda's favorite tracks Knights of the Jaguar by DJ Ronaldo.

Visit the physical labyrinth in the Philips de Jongh park in Eindhoven and add a new dimension to your walk on the spot with this app!

Lady Aïda

LABYRINT is a gift to the city from Lady Aïda, who passed away on September 27, 2021. The rebellious innovator Aïda had many faces: as a DJ she was a pioneer who gave direction to the dance scene, as a teacher she transformed from DJ teacher to yoga master to life coach. In every capacity she managed to inspire those around her to move, to never accept standstill and to rebel against the status quo.
