Just download the app, login or register and you are ready to chat in minutes. It looks and works the way other apps do, so there is no need to “learn XMPP” or even care what it is.

5 stars for support! Thank you for supporting XMPP on iOS (and MacOS). Really looking forward to updates resolving issues with MUC. I’m sure once that’s in place, development will proceed with more functions.

The app is great to the eye and unlike it’s alternatives, it stays online!

XMPP is an open-protocol, can be self-hosted and runs on all platforms with multiple application alternatives. If it’s decentralized and private messaging that uses minimum resources, it’s the way to go.

If you haven’t checked out XMPP, install this app, create your account and start using. Lot’s of information on the web for XMPP: if you’d like, do a quick research yourself. Promise you won’t be disappointed!
