Disappointing Experience for Non-Egyptians

I had a regrettable experience with Valu that compelled me to share my thoughts. Despite their claims of inclusivity in their social media campaigns, my encounter revealed a stark contrast.

Before visiting the Maadi service port, I called customer service to confirm if Valu's services were genuinely for everyone, and they assured me they were. However, upon reaching the branch, I was promptly informed that the service is exclusively for Egyptians. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction, an employee graciously filled out an application for me, only to face rejection later.

Seeking clarification, I contacted customer service again, only to encounter an unhelpful agent who repeatedly referenced contractual language without providing specific details. Despite meeting the necessary criteria and having a valid reason for application, my concerns were dismissed.

The entire process has been frustrating, highlighting a significant lack of knowledge among customer service agents. I would strongly caution non-Egyptians, as well as those who might not fit an undisclosed criterion of being "Egyptian enough," against considering Valu. A similar unjustified rejection was experienced by my Egyptian friend.

In summary, my experience with Valu has been disappointing, and I believe there is a need for improvement in their customer service and transparent communication regarding eligibility criteria.
